Our client, a leading company in the electric vehicle (EV) industry, is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Product Design Architecture & Integration Lead to own the full mechanical design and system integration of an advanced vehicle platform. Our client, a leading company in the electric vehicle (EV) industry, is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Product Design Architecture & Integration Lead to own the full mechanical design and system integration of an advanced vehicle platform. This is a rare opportunity to architect an entire EV platform from the ground up—balancing innovation, manufacturability, and performance in a fast-moving, technically driven environment.
What You'll Do
- Own the complete vehicle platform CAD assembly with focus on occupant packaging and subsystem integration.
- Lead cross-functional teams to resolve packaging conflicts and optimize for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
- Drive system integration workflows and establish structured design processes for rapid iteration and development.
- Support prototype-to-production transitions through close collaboration with manufacturing and supply chain teams.
- Serve as a technical leader who communicates progress, trade-offs, and challenges effectively to executive stakeholders.
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical design and system integration, preferably within EV, automotive, or related vehicle platforms (ATV/UTV, etc.).
- Expert-level 3D CAD proficiency (CATIA preferred).
- Proven experience with PLM systems for part structuring, BOM management, and engineering change control workflows.
- Demonstrated success launching vehicle platforms from concept to production.
- Strong mechanical engineering foundation in structural design, packaging, and subsystem trade-offs.
- Experience leading cross-functional system integration across mechanical, electrical, and design teams.
- Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills.
- Master's in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- A program-management mindset —comfortable balancing 70% individual contributor work with 30% coordination and leadership.
