Job Description

We are partnered with a fast-growing fintech platform to hire Senior Account Executives for an event-driven, relationship-first sales model. Instead of high-volume cold calling, you'll build a pipeline by attending multiple founder/VC events each week, nurturing warm introductions, and closing net-new mid-market customers.

Why This Role is Essential
You'll help build the San Francisco market from the ground up - accelerating adoption through community engagement and in-person selling. This role directly impacts new logo growth, market share, and monthly onboarding volume.

Background
Great candidates for this role may come from:
  • Small startups (<500 employees) in fintech or B2B SaaS with closing ownership
  • VC/accelerator environments or former founders with existing SF networks
  • Roles emphasizing self-generated pipeline, in-person networking, and selling to founders/C-level

What You'll Do
  • Attend 1 - 3+ in-person networking events weekly;host/partner on community gatherings as needed
  • Source, qualify, and close self-generated opportunities;build multi-threaded relationships
  • Own the full sales cycle from first meeting through contract and handoff
  • Meet prospects in person throughout the week;schedule additional meetups beyond events
  • Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene;forecast accurately;collaborate with GTM leadership
  • Help refine event playbooks, local partnerships, and territory strategy

Skills and Competencies

Required
  • 3+ years in a closing sales role (startup environment preferred)
  • Experience selling SaaS, software, or financial services products
  • Familiarity with the SF startup/VC ecosystem;comfort engaging founders and executives face-to-face
  • Proven self-sourcing and net-new acquisition track record
  • Comfortable with frequent after-hours events;strong communication and follow-through
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and modern sales tools

Desired
  • Background at small fintechs/financial operations platforms
  • Former founder or VC/accelerator experience
  • Experience selling expense management, corporate cards, or business banking platforms
  • Event planning/execution and community-building skills

What's In It for You
  • Competitive base ($75k - $150k) + uncapped commission with accelerators at 120%+ equity included.
  • Event-driven model that prioritizes warm, relationship-based selling over cold calls
  • High-growth trajectory: rapid market share gains;300+ companies onboarding monthly
  • Build something from the ground up in SF with a collaborative team and clear advancement paths
