About The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the development of a new zero-carbon district energy system in Seattle. You will be directly responsible for the development and delivery of the project. You will work closely with stakeholders, developers, world-class consultants, and contractors to deliver unique carbon-neutral infrastructure, providing heating and cooling to buildings for decades to come.
The project presents a wide variety of challenges and will require a Project Manager who can synthesize project goals, regulatory parameters, policy shifts, a complex risk landscape, project economics and be able to communicate readily with all the parties who touch the project in order to build a collaborative work environment and drive towards success.
Duties will include scheduling, commercial negotiation, risk management, oversight of engineering, procurement and construction contracts, coordination with design teams, oversight of construction and commissioning activities, coordination with internal staff, external resources, and key stakeholders.
It is critical that they perform this work within the policies, ethical standards, and objectives of the Company.
Project Managers will also be responsible for employee training and development (including their own growth and development), coordination with other departments or group managers to help meet strategic company goals, and for providing world-class customer service and building strong customer trust and relationships.

- Has a proven track record of excellent customer relations and problem-solving
- Has a strong technical knowledge of mechanical system operations
- Is an accomplished team player.
- 8+ years experience delivering utility infrastructure and/or healthcare projects in excess of $20MM.
- Exceptional collaborative interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Solid time management, organizational, and planning skills
- Expertise with project stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of critical outcomes
- Certification in project management methodologies such as PMP an asset
- Utility and/or healthcare construction experience an asset
- Bachelor' s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field (we will consider a combination of direct experience and education that would indicate proficiency in performing Project Manager duties)
