What You Will Be Doing:
- Lead the design and development of HVAC and electrical systems for commercial and industrial buildings.
- Implement sustainable practices while ensuring practical functionality and optimizing energy consumption.
- Manage MEP projects from concept to completion, coordinating with cross-functional teams to integrate systems seamlessly.
- Oversee and conduct calculations for MEP systems, utilizing advanced modeling tools like Revit.
- Communicate design concepts effectively to clients and project stakeholders, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Review construction documents, specifications, and submittals, performing site visits to ensure design implementation aligns with project requirements.
- Address any design modifications promptly to maintain project quality and efficiency.
What You Need for This Position:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing MEP systems for commercial buildings.
- Proficiency in Revit for drafting and modeling is strongly desired but not required.
- A creative mindset with the ability to tailor solutions to each project's unique needs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with architects, engineers, and clients.
