Job Description
We are partnering with a leading small business lender specializing in alternative financing solutions. They are seeking a Client Retention & Growth Strategist to own the full lifecycle of merchant retention combining direct outreach, process development, and internal enablement.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Drive Renewals & Repeat Business Maintain relationships with active and past borrowers;identify opportunities for renewal, refinancing, and additional funding.
- Build & Refine Retention Infrastructure Create email cadences, call workflows, and client touchpoint plans. Design the systems that others in the company will follow.
- Collaborate & Track Results Work with sales, underwriting, and offshore teams to execute your vision. Track performance through dashboards and iterate on what works.
- Own the Merchant Relationship Serve as a trusted advisor, helping merchants understand their funding options and advocate for their evolving business needs.
- Experiment & Improve Test different messaging, contact strategies, and referral tactics. Learn what drives retention and scale it across the org.
What You Bring:
- 1 3 years in business development, account management, or client success
- Strong CRM skills (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience working with small business clients or financial products is a plus
- Self-starter mentality: you move fast, learn quickly, and don't wait to be told what to do
