What You Will Be Doing:
  • Oversee the accurate and timely processing of invoices, purchase orders, and payments. Ensure proper coding and allocation of expenses and monitor and reconcile accounts payable ledgers.
  • Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports. Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements, and collaborate with auditors during audits.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely payments.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies. Implement and maintain automated systems to streamline workflows.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives and support other finance and accounting functions.
What we need from you:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, general ledger, and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
We'd Be Delighted if You Have:
  • CPA or CMA certification.
  • Experience with ERP systems including A/P software.
  • Knowledge of procurement and inventory processes.
