- Perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repair services on Client control systems.
- Handle advanced controls installations, programming, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Conduct planned maintenance and inspections as per service agreements.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment proficiently.
- Complete service contracts, quoted projects, and demand service calls.
- Develop long-term relationships with customers, explaining work performed to their satisfaction.
- Communicate and document project status to all project stakeholders.
- Serve as a front-line resource to service technicians, providing technical support and training.
- Coordinate the work of subcontractors and train technicians.
- Participate in on-call rotation as dictated by business unit policies and procedures.
- Coordinate multi-tech service calls.
- Maintain equipment, tools, and inventory stock on service vehicles.
- Use technology/software to create and modify programming such as graphics, databases, and sequences.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 7+ years of Controls Technician experience.
- Experience with JCI Metasys, Tridium AX/N4, Distech, Siemens, and Siemens Desigo.
- Fundamentals of A/C electrical circuits and low voltage D/C electrical circuits and operation.
- Hands-on experience with controls platforms such as Siemens, Distech, JCI, Inet.
- Access controls and lighting controls installation and programming skills.
- Advanced controls programming and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and device data sheets.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and software.
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates strong business ethics at all times.
