We are partnered with a top-tier mechanical contractor to help them hire a Commercial Project Manager to join their team in New Haven, CT. This role is ideal for someone with HVAC or construction project experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering complex projects on time and on budget.

As a Commercial Project Manager, you'll lead large-scale HVAC installation and replacement projects. You'll be responsible for jobsite safety, client communication, budgeting, and quality control from kickoff to closeout. You'll also play a key part in driving internal collaboration and building long-term customer relationships.

- Manage HVAC construction and retrofit projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Ensure jobsite safety and regulatory compliance through regular inspections
- Serve as primary client contact—providing updates, resolving issues, and supporting long-term relationships
- Prepare estimates, proposals, change orders, and documentation
- Track budgets, costs, timelines, and billing progress
- Coordinate with internal engineering, purchasing, and field teams to ensure efficiency and quality
- Use CRM tools (like Salesforce) for reporting and tracking
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in HVAC, construction, or project management
- Estimating and proposal development experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
Desired:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical training
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with commercial HVAC systems and construction sequencing
