Senior Financial Analyst
Job Description
We have multiple openings for experienced Financial Analysts to work from our Headquarters in Lehigh Valley, PA.
These positions will be key parts of the Corporate Finance Team, supporting management decision-making with reporting, analysis, and financial management in a cross-functional environment.
One opening has a heavy focus on Manufacturing and Supply Chain working with our operations team on budgeting, Cost of Goods Sold and improving our financial forecasts for our manufacturing and distribution.
The second opening will support our Treasury Operations enhancing our ability to manage our investment portfolio and improve cash forecasting both in the US and internationally.
General Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting, including managing the annual budget process, preparing consolidated forecasts, and analyzing trends.
- Conduct business reviews and provide detailed financial analytics in support of monthly updates.
- Partner with accounting during the monthly close process and ensure compliance with Lutron's accounting policies.
- Apply proven organizational skills and attention to detail while performing daily and monthly accounting tasks.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and reporting standards.
- Analyze and review financial results with accounting and business leadership.
- Work effectively both independently and in groups, establishing professional relationships across multiple departments.
- Lead and coordinate team-driven projects, including profitability reviews, investment portfolio management, and capital expenditure budget oversight.
- Analyze global currency impact on international pricing and support foreign exchange hedging decisions.
- Provide analysis and reporting on capital investment expenditures and forecasts.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 3-10 years of work experience in finance and/or accounting with monthly reporting responsibility.
- Experience in cost accounting, budgeting, and variance analysis in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of JD Edwards, SAP financial systems, and financial reporting tools is a big plus.
- Knowledge of OneStream is a big plus.
- Experience with international and manufacturing organizations is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to operate in a dynamic environment with changes and upcoming software changes.
