Job Description

We are a leading manufacturer of industrial gases and combustion products. Our products are used in a variety of industries, including heating, power generation, and industrial processes. For over 50 years, companies all over the world have been using our containers, pumps and machines to safely store and utilize propane, energy efficient hydrogen and various gases.

Our newest product line is a range of Combustion Products used across Industrial Markets including Heating Equipment, Power Generation, Boilers, Furnaces, and other Industrial Processes.

We’ve realized immediate success in the marketplace based on our superior product line and the work of our Engineering, Product Management and inside sales team. We are now searching for a Business Development Manager capable of helping us double our product line revenue over the next 2-3 years.

This is a field-based position. An ideal candidate will live in the Eastern half of the United States, able to travel about half the time to cover the US market and make occasional trips to our HQ in Seattle.

Overview and Focus of the Position
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing new market opportunities, building relationships, and developing and executing sales strategies to close deals. The role will also involve utilizing, refining, and building out new processes related to expanding market share, identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, establishing new revenue streams, managing the sales pipeline, tracking progress toward goals, analyzing and interpreting customer feedback, and providing valuable insights related to market research.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related
  • Five plus years of proven success developing sales territories and exceeding quota of at least $1.5 million
  • Strong communication skills used to effectively engage with customers and build relationship
  • Ability to analyze customer data and market trends
  • Ability to adapt to evolving market conditions
Preferred Qualifications
We’d be really excited if you have a background in one of these markets: Heat exchangers, Industrial Controls or other Industrial process equipment OR Mobile Power generation OR Heat Treatment.

In addition to a significant base salary and total comp of up to $180K or more we offer robust career development and a comprehensive benefit package.
